Up to now no studies have been carried out in Poland to specifically address the habitat preferences of the great snipe. It was therefore one of the important goals of our project to complete the knowledge on this topic. With this aim we have visited Latvia and Estonia. The visit was also an excellent opportunity to establish contacts with other beneficiaries of the Life+ programme.
